Brief Description: DCJS Certified

Full Description: This program prepares MPTC certified instructors in the history of chemical sprays, selection, safety, effectiveness, hand held personal delivery systems, methods of carry, operational guidelines, in custody deaths, case studies and decontamination. The course includes both classroom instruction and practical exercises. Student exposure to OC Spray at the instructor level is mandated.

Reporting Instructions: Students will report to the Academy classes begin at 0800.

Signup Details: A portal account is required to register for classes. Registration by phone or fax is not accepted. TRAINING OFFICERS: Authorized officials may register multiple officers from their agency in a class.
