The Rockland County Police and Public Safety Academy follows NYS DCJS Certified Basic Course for Police Officers; as well as offering a wide variety of In-Service Training to meet the needs of the Law Enforcement Community and prepare both recruits and seasoned Officers to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Step 1: Create a Training Officer Account
Training Officers may be granted access to the RCPA Acadis Portal, allowing them to add department personnel to the site and then to request enrollment for them in academy classes. Please contact the academy if you do not presently have access to the Portal.

Step 2: Browse the list of Available Training
Once your account is active, you will receive an email confirmation. Return to this page and login. Go to the list of Available Training and you will be able to access registration more information.

Step 3: Request Registration
Only Training Officers may register themselves and their own agency personnel for classes. Once logged in, the List of Available Training will allow Training Officers to request enrollment in academy classes for their personnel.

Log In Help

Once you receive your username and set up password you will need to download the app Google Authenticator onto your phone or use the desktop version. A QR Code will pop up (be sure to allow pop ups for this page) that you can scan into the Google Authenticator app by touching the + sign in the bottom right corner. A 6-digit code will appear that you will need to enter. You will need to input a new code with each log in.
